If you have been following Loomio for a while, you will have noticed we periodically review our pricing. I’m delighted to announce our latest pricing focusing on simplicity, fairness and inclusion.
Many customers have told us they want to invite more people into discussion and decision making, but don’t want to pay for people who are not actively participating. They want to scale up for key events like a general meeting and then scale back down after, and only pay for people actively using Loomio.
So we have combined our previous plans into a single Active plan.
Our new price starts at $30 USD per month for the first 10 people. Additional active users are charged at $3 USD per month. Active users are people who start threads, polls, or comment or vote in your group. We do not charge for people who visit the group, read content or leave reactions.
We have reintroduced a nonprofit discount of 33%, and still provide special rates for community and volunteer groups with no paid staff.
While this will be the new default pricing when you upgrade to a paid subscription, there are no changes to existing subscription agreements.
At Loomio, our mission is to make it easy for anyone, anywhere, to participate in decisions that affect their lives. We reflect this in the way we operate our business.
Our goal is to provide Loomio to as many people as possible, while also developing the Loomio platform so it can better serve you. To sustainably work towards our vision, we structure pricing based on value created and the type of organization we serve. Our aim is to offer a competitive price for business, an affordable price for nonprofit organizations, and special rates for community groups.
Remember that we do not monetize your data or attention. We will never sell your data or use it for advertising purposes. You are free to export your data at any time.
